The project is a temporary departure lounge and offices for a private airport in Toluca, Mexico.The client needed a temporary place where they could continue providing service during the 9 months that the construction of the main building would take.

 

The design guides were based on creating a comfortable and elegant space, without losing the industrial character that its location inside a hangar provided. Likewise, we opted for materials that could be reused in the future.

 

The concept consists of a free plan and a wooden structure, which the client would reuse in another project, complemented by solid blocks containing private services such as bathrooms, and a translucent facade that would allow the clients to see the movement of airplanes.
